Lanoptics' Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (OADM) enables flexible, node-level bandwidth management in DWDM/CWDM optical networks by selectively adding and dropping specific wavelengths from a multiplexed fiber stream without interrupting the pass-through channels. This capability facilitates efficient bandwidth distribution in long-haul, metro, and 5G transport networks.
